What's New Today!

Good Morning. Today is Thursday, oct. 17 and it is a maroon half day.

BTC TOUR:
Students interested in attending Bellingham Technical College Tour Day on November 5th, please see Giovanni to sign up.

SPORTS REPORT:
The Lady Blackhawks won all three games against Mt. Vernon High School with final scores of: 25-19, 25-16, and 26-17. Nice job ladies.

BASKETBALL SIGN UPS:
All middle school boys and girls interested in basketball, sign up with Jerome Toby and Kevin Day Wednesday-Friday during lunch.

UPCOMING SPORTS:
Thursday 10/17- MS cross country meet at Blaine Peace Arch @ 4:15
Saturday 10/19- Blackhawks travel to Crescent HS kick off at 2:00pm.

HOMECOMING:
The homecoming dance will be on Saturday, Oct. 26th here at LNS from 8:30-11:30pm.
Admission is $10/singles and $15/couples. The theme is “Fire & Ice”.
If you would like to bring a guest from another school, you will need to get a guest pass from the downstairs front office. Guest passes are due on October 23rd.Guests who do not have a guest pass will not be allowed into the dance. If you have any questions, please see Brenna Torres.

SPIRIT WEEK: OCT. 21-25
Monday- 80’s day! Wear your best 80’s themed outfit. (big hair, neon colors, leg warmers, big jackets, and high-waisted jeans!)
Tuesday- Rep Your Team Day! Wear your favorite sports jersey.
Wednesday- Flip It Day! Teachers dress like students and students dress like teachers.
Thursday- Color Wars! 7th grade wear blue, 8th grade wear red, freshman wear grey, sophomores wear white, juniors wear pink, and seniors wear black. Staff wear green!
Friday-Blackhawk day! Wear all of your black and maroon Blackhawk gear.
