Good Morning, Lummi Nation School! Today is Thursday, April 30th and it is a Maroon Day. 

 

Academics

Seniors: Remember to attend the mandatory First Salmon Ceremony meetings every Tuesday at 3:00  in Mr. Tso’s room.

All seniors who have not completed their senior math project need to go to Ms. Carbone’s room today during club time to work on their project.

 

Congratulations to Desmond Jones. He is now the second senior to successfully complete the Salmon Ceremony math project!

Activities

The concessions stand will be open to grades 7-12 during lunch on Wednesdays. It is cash only.

The LNS prom will be held at the Silver Reef Casino on May 23rd for grades 9-12. The theme is Masquerade Ball.

Athletics

Good luck to all our spring athletes!

There is a HS golf match v. Lynden at Loomis today at 3:00. The golf team will be dismissed at 1:15.

There is also a MS track meet today at Mount Baker at 4:00. The MS track team will be dismissed at 2:15. 

Lunch

Lunch today is chicken nuggets with broccoli.

Halk Talk is produced by Blackhawks Studios, our student-run media production program at Lummi Nation School. Blackhawks Studios gives students hands-on experience in video production, storytelling, and digital media while providing a creative platform to showcase the voices and spirit of our school community.
