We’re excited to share an opportunity from Blue Skies for Children, a local nonprofit dedicated to raising hope and self-esteem by supporting enrichment opportunities for youth in Whatcom County.

Two programs are currently open for enrollment:

1X Little Wishes
📅 Applications open April 1 – April 30, 2026
This one-time award helps support a child’s specific wish or enrichment opportunity, such as camps, after-school programs, or equipment fees. Awards typically range from $50–$150 and are distributed through a lottery system.

Driver’s Education Scholarship
📅 Applications open April 1 – May 15, 2026
This competitive scholarship supports teens ages 15–17 with driver’s education costs. The application requires an essay, references, transcript, and proof of access to a vehicle and insurance.
