Blue Skies for Children โ€“ Open Programs for LNS Families

Dear Lummi Nation School Families,
Weโ€™re excited to share an opportunity from Blue Skies for Children, a local nonprofit dedicated to raising hope and self-esteem by supporting enrichment opportunities for youth in Whatcom County.

Two programs are currently open for enrollment:

1X Little Wishes

This one-time award helps support a childโ€™s specific wish or enrichment opportunity, such as camps, after-school programs, or equipment fees. Awards typically range from $50โ€“$150 and are distributed through a lottery system.

Driverโ€™s Education Scholarship
๐Ÿ“… Applications open April 1 โ€“ May 15, 2026
This competitive scholarship supports teens ages 15โ€“17 with driverโ€™s education costs. The application requires an essay, references, transcript, and proof of access to a vehicle and insurance.
